Summary:

As a Senior AWS Cloud Developer at Xtract One, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS cloud services with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automating application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Collaborate with the software architecture team to provide guidance on cloud architecture, design, and best practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of applications and services.
• Develop and implement security measures to safeguard the company's cloud infrastructure and data.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a growing cloud team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Stay current with AWS trends, updates, and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential for adoption.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation/CDK or Terraform.
• Strong background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, VPC, IAM, and more.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Scripting proficiency in languages like Python or Bash.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
