ICE is looking for a Corrosion Program Coordinator for a fully seconded ICE representative at a client project in Ottawa. Position will require close collaboration with the Corrosion Program Engineer and the wider ICE team who will also provide supervision, mentorship and technical support. You will support all aspects of the Corrosion Program implementation, including core project management and governance coordination / communication with the client. You will ensure that the implementation of the program is smooth as you act as a central point for all activities.

This role requires you to hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residence status. You have an engineering or technical degree and project management training and/or experience. Past experience with corrosion/coatings/NDT/inspection is preferred and French is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Provide central program coordination (e.g. track compliance, activity planning, progress and information meetings, communication, budget inputs, allocating resources, tracking requests for support etc).

▪ Develop tactical approaches for creation of program elements and initiatives.

▪ Provide support for the implementation of the program by developing processes, documentation and

collecting stakeholder feedback etc.

▪ Liaise with engineers to provide input for future activity plans and budgets for the program.

▪ Manage, track and communicate activities and progress of CMP with stakeholders, in particular

developing strong relationships with program leadership.

▪ Project manage and support corrosion projects with internal stakeholders and external contractors .

▪ Centrally collect all relevant corrosion technical data from survey/inspection reports and provide to

engineers for analysis. Communicate findings to SHs.

▪ Use work order and database system to input and analyse data (training will be provided).

▪ Collect and record technical lessons learned.

▪ Ensure program documentation is reviewed, up-to-date and correctly managed.

▪ Track and update metric dashboards and reports for program and leadership.

▪ Collect opportunities for continuous improvement.

▪ Coordinate and support the field teams by:

− Creating and managing standard operating procedures.

− Logistics and planning of field-based activities.

− Support field team with data entry into database.

− Support the creation of overview reports of asset condition metrics.

− Weekly meetings with major stakeholders - progress / roadblocks / support required.

− Run program review workshop meetings.

− Collect requests for corrosion related support requested by client and arrange support.

You will be required to provide your full time and attention to this position. This includes working regular business hours Monday to Friday. Homebase will be at the client premises in Ottawa, where you will be expected in-person in the office a minimum of 3 days a week. This position will require occasional travel, including regular check-in meetings in Toronto with the core team, as required.

The salary range starts at $65,000 annually and a 10% discretionary bonus will be offered based on your performance and the annual performance of the company. We offer health benefits, flexible work arrangements, additional PTO and high levels of autonomy.
