Intro

Hey, I’m John Shaskin, Engineering Manager at MedMe Health. I lead the Nebula pod within our Engineering department.

At MedMe, we are passionate about empowering pharmacists to provide services beyond just prescribing. Our mission is to build an all-in-one cloud-based platform that enables pharmacists to schedule, document, and manage clinical services at scale. With over 4,500 pharmacies using our software, we’ve facilitated more than 25 million patient services, transforming pharmacies into community health hubs across North America.

To support MedMe’s overall goals, Nebula owns the user experience for our patient-facing scheduler as well as the pharmacist portal for managing patients, appointments, and documentation. We’re focused on expanding these capabilities to delight our existing customers and help MedMe win new ones.

The Team / Opportunity

The Nebula pod’s mission is to enable a fantastic user experience for pharmacists managing their patient relationships, while also creating greater ease and clarity for patients accessing clinical services.

As MedMe expands into new markets, our team needs additional senior engineering capacity to meet the demands of both new and existing customers. This role is critical to ensuring we can continue delivering exceptional value while scaling sustainably.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior FullStack Engineer (front-end strong) for the Nebula pod. This role will relieve bottlenecks caused by enterprise work while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our platform. You’ll focus on under-supported but critical areas like tech debt, platform sustainability, and front-end modernization.

In your first 90 days, you’ll:

• Take ownership of our design system and front-end refactor, reducing duplication and removing deprecated blockers.
• Drive delivery of high-impact strategic projects that expand our business and create value for both patients and pharmacists.

Longer term, you’ll:

• Guide modernization of the front-end and help shape sustainable practices across the stack.
• Push the team toward iterative, smaller, faster releases.
• Bring a diverse perspective and cultural impact, raising concerns openly and helping the team adopt better practices.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Strong experience with React.JS
• Proficiency with Node.js APIs and SQL databases
• Strong grounding in modern HTML and CSS
• Comfort with adopting and leveraging generative AI tools in daily work
• A track record of owning projects end-to-end and driving them to completion
• A bias for action, delivering value iteratively and quickly
• A collaborative approach that supports and uplifts teammates
• A willingness to mentor junior engineers and help grow the team’s capability

Bonus points if you bring:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with deployment automation
• Knowledge of front-end test automation tools
