Total positions across roles: 22 (Environmental biologist – 15; Environmental Chemist – 1; Remote Sensing Application Specialist – 2; GIS Technologist – 2; Content Creator and News Reader – 2). Requirements & Experience: Post-Secondary degree or recent graduate in Geography, Environmental Studies, Biology, Chemistry, or related majors; strong background in geospatial and remote sensing data analysis (RSAS); experience with various levels of remote sensing data (RSAS); excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to interpret data and graphics with good spatial awareness and colour vision. Key Responsibilities: Assist PI and lab researchers on projects in Ontario aimed at reducing GHG emissions, chemical pollution, and increasing soil quality; develop technologies to reduce GHG via urban organic agriculture and to reduce food waste (anaerobic composting); collaborate with external research professionals; prepare figures/diagrams; present findings; contribute to publications and grants, including editing/proofing; read and synthesize scientific literature. Location: Remote work; may require office/field visits. Government of Canada funded. Eligibility: age 15–30, legally entitled to work in Canada; international students not eligible.
