Applications are now closed.Total positions: 22 (across listed roles).Requirements & Experience:- Post-Secondary degree or recent graduate in related fields: Geography, Environmental Studies, Biology, Chemistry, or related majors- Strong background in geospatial and remote sensing data analysis (RSAS)- Experience working with various levels of remote sensing data (RSAS)- Experience in working with GIS (for GIS technologist)- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong organizational and analytical skills- Ability to interpret data, graphics and symbols; good spatial awareness and colour visionKey Responsibilities:- Assist PI and lab researchers with project research (e.g., implementation in rural/urban Ontario), demonstrating efficacy in reducing GHG emissions, chemical pollution, and increasing soil quality- Develop technologies to reduce GHG via urban organic agriculture and reduce food waste (anaerobic composting)- Work with External Research Professionals- Prepare figures and diagrams; present findings; participate in exchange of ideas- Collaborate with lab professionals; contribute intellectual input to project design- Read and understand relevant scientific literature- Contribute to preparation and submission of articles for publication- Participate in editing/proofing of grant proposals, annual reports, and manuscripts; recommend modifications to the Principal InvestigatorLocation: Remote work.
